Autumn Favourites under £5

I absolutely love Autumn, I mean don’t get me wrong I’m sad to say goodbye to Summer (not that we really had one here in Manchester!) but I’m all ready for the colder months. I’ve already hunted out my favourite jumpers and boots and it’s just a waiting game for me now. I’m not as excited for dark early mornings and the extremely cold nights, but there’s a lot to look forward to when it comes to this time of year.

One of my favourite things to do when Autumn comes around is change up my makeup to suit the Season. I’ve picked out a selection of my favourite drugstore products that are perfect for Autumn. All of these beauty buys are under £5 so they’re great for those of you looking to reinvent your makeup collection on a budget.

When it comes to eye makeup over the Autumn months, for me it’s all about warm tones. I love a golden smokey eye so I tend to mix between varying shades of brown.

Makeup Revolution ‘Iconic 2’ Palette  |  £4.00
I’m a huge fan of Makeup Revolution and I’ve had this palette in my collection for quite a while. There’s an amazing range of shades and the quality is incredible for such an affordable palette. I’ve picked out just a few of my favourite shades but to be honest most of these would be perfect for Autumn.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo ‘On & On Bronze’  |  £4.99
I love Maybelline’s cream eyeshadows, they’re an incredible dupe for Mac Paint Pots and they speed up makeup application massively. It’s the kind of shade that goes with pretty much any makeup look and it only takes a little blending with a fluffy brush and you’re good to go. Not to mention they last all day too!

Sleek Blush ‘Pomegranate’  |  £4.49
To me this shade just screams Autumn. I absolutely love a deep lip in the build up to Winter and this shade of blush looks absolutely beautiful paired with similar toned lipsticks.  It’s extremely pigmented so it may look quite scary from the swatches, but as long as you use a light hand it adds a gorgeous flush of colour to the cheeks. I imagine I’ll be using this non-stop over the next few months!

Rimmel Lip Liner ‘Cappucino’  |  £2.99
This is a beautiful lip liner shade. It’s quite a cool toned brown and the deep colour is perfect for Autumn. I love using this all over the lips but it looks gorgeous paired with nude lipsticks to add a bit of dimension too.

Sleek Eau La La Liner ‘Dragon Fruit’  |  £4.99
I think Sleek’s lip liners are of similar quality to high end brands so the price point is incredible. ‘Dragon Fruit’ is an amazing plum shade that matches so many of my lipsticks and lasting power is great. They don’t look too similar on the swatches above, but Sleek’s lip liner and Collection’s Lip Butter make a beautiful pair.

Collection Lip Butter ‘Perfect Plum’  |  £2.99
I love Collection’s lip butters. They’re so easy to apply and have incredible lasting power (even after food and drinks!). I’ve always had dry lips so when the cold hits it doesn’t half take it’s toll, these really help to keep the lips moisturised and ‘Perfect Plum’ is Autumn in a tube.

Seventeen Mirror Shine Lipstick ‘Beehive’  |  £4.79
I bought this lipstick after reading great reviews and it hasn’t failed to impress me. The warm reddy coral is a lovely shade for everyday but I’ve found it looks gorgeous paired with warm eyeshadows. It’s a great shade all year round but I really think it’s lovely for Autumn when you don’t feel like rocking a dark lip.

Essence XXXL Lipgloss ‘Soft Whisper’  |  £2
Although I love a deep lip during Autumn, I do tend to reach for nude shades an awful lot too. This Essence lip gloss is lovely quality and looks beautiful alone or on top of nude lipsticks.
